PROJECT 02 / COMMERCIAL NARRATIVES

Warm timber, shoji-filtered light, and intimate dining settings come together to celebrate the timeless ritual of gathering around food.

Warm timber, shoji-filtered light, and intimate dining settings come together to celebrate the timeless ritual of gathering around food.

Nestled within a corner shophouse, the restaurant reinterprets the quiet beauty of Japanese dining through light, material, and proportion. Warm timber and natural textures establish a calm architectural backdrop, while illuminated shoji screens become the defining gesture—casting a soft, diffused glow that shapes the atmosphere throughout the day.

Every material is selected for its honesty, allowing the architecture to frame what matters most: the ritual of gathering, the craftsmanship of the cuisine, and the moments shared around the table.
